[Q022] Who is the boy in Terry's ending?
A mysterious boy appears in Terry's ending and backstory [in Fatal Fury 3]. Who the hell is this boy? Let's try to find out.

The boy in the ending. Terry himself says, "I met my dad [his adoptive father Jeff Bogard] when I was about that age".
Then, this boy is about 6 or 7 years old.
In addition, Terry tells the boy, "You and I have the same background…".
This boy, like Terry and Andy, seems to be an orphan without parents. Moreover, it is said that this boy is entrusted to the church that looked after Terry and Andy for a while.

A priest of the church told the boy about Terry, and the boy became interested in him, and it seems that he came to admire Terry, the hero of South Town.
The boy finally met Terry after the incident with the Jin’s secret scrolls came to an end.
When Terry heard about the boy's story, he found out that their pasts had so much in common that he couldn't see him as just a stranger, and decided to take care of him.

Thus, the boy ended up living with Terry.
In the future, the boy may learn martial arts under Terry and grow into a first-class fighter.
Then, Terry will be attacked by someone, and the boy will set out to take revenge… It wouldn't be strange if a story like this could be made.
Who knows, in this world there is karma, time goes by, and battles go on and on. Or so they say, right?

Anyway, we want to watch the boy grow up.

By the way, some heartless fans spread the rumor that the boy is Terry's illegitimate child, but this is completely baseless. Why is Terry surrounded by all this gossip...?

The mysterious boy and the Fatal Fury 4 protagonist theory
It's not entirely out of the question that the boy in the ending would replace Terry as the main character.
Lilly was made to appear by SNK’s head honcho after all, so anything could happen.
And it looks like Rimururu will be appearing in the Samurai sequel. (← Fiction. Don't believe it. But I have high expectations).

[Q054] What do we know about Sorimachi, the violence-oriented yakuza and aniki* of Ryuji Yamazaki?

T/N: Aniki means “older brother”. This word is commonly used by yakuza to address someone who is higher in rank.

Sorimachi was a man that Yamazaki acknowledged as his aniki out of admiration. They met in Okinawa. Sorimachi recognized Yamazaki’s potential, decided to give him a chance, and opened the doors of the criminal underworld for him. What else do we know about this person?

If you watch dramas or films, or if you read mangas and the like, then you already know that there are different types of yakuza. Some portrayals are based on those who commit heinous acts. Others are more traditional and belong to a type of organized crime that does not harm civilians. It may seem that Sorimachi belonged to the latter and was never involved in drug trafficking or similar businesses. His specialty was smuggling and illegally selling weapons obtained from the US Armed Forces.

It was under these circumstances that Sorimachi and Yamazaki’s paths crossed in Okinawa.

Sorimachi was an old-fashioned man who highly valued his moral code. He cared for his “younger brothers” in the group, including Yamazaki. However, as he preferred to solve issues by resorting to violence, most members of the organization he belonged to—and who had a moderate approach to things—didn’t hold him in high regard.

By the way, we must point out that Sorimachi probably looked like actor Bunta Sugawara.

A day came when the ever-rising tensions with a rival organization reached a breaking point and a confrontation ensued. The cause of the conflict was a very trivial matter, such as a false accusation by the other group.

As the situation worsened, both sides suffered numerous casualties, but Sorimachi remained firm in his decision to use force and not back down.

However, the moderate leaders who despised Sorimachi and who had never shared his conservative mentality decided to pretend that he was the only one to blame for the incident, and they offered him to the rival organization as a token of reconciliation. In other words, they handed Sorimachi over to protect their group and to get rid of someone they considered a hindrance.

Unable to save the person who had taught him so much, and whom he considered his family, Yamazaki gradually started to lose his mind.

Left: Bunta Sugawara, actor.
Right: Sorimachi, drawn by Etsuya Amajishi.

My fists are my own personal style

Yamazaki says that he learned karate from Sorimachi, but his technique looks more like a brawling style. He probably learned a style that didn’t follow the precepts of karate.

The treasure of Emperor Qin Shi Huang

Originally, Yamazaki was searching for the treasure of Emperor Qin Shi Huang.

During his research on the matter, he learned about the Qin Dynasty and concluded that he would find clues about the treasure in the Qin Secret Scrolls.

This is why Yamazaki looked for these ancient documents—not because he wanted to learn the Teiou Ken technique contained in them, but to find the location of the alleged treasure, which had always been his objective.

[Q064] Blue Mary’s favorite cocktail?

The cocktail that Blue Mary drinks before taking on a new assignment is now a sad reminder of her love for Butch. In this article, we will share the recipe with you.

Butch asked the owner of his favorite bar to come up with a drink inspired by Mary, and the resulting drink was named, very appropriately, “Blue Mary”.

Some time later, Mary Ryan’s father, and Butch, both passed away. She started working as an independent agent and decided to use the drink’s name as her codename, maybe to keep their deaths always in her mind.

Now, let’s take a look at the essential ingredients of a Blue Mary Cocktail:

30 ml gin
10 ml lime juice
2 spoonfuls sugar
2 spoonfuls blue curaçao
Suitable amount of sparkling wine

The drink is easy to mix. In a cocktail shaker, combine gin, lime juice, sugar and blue curaçao and shake well. Add ice and pour into a wine glass, which is then filled up with sparkling wine. The bar’s owner would also recommend mixing it slowly before taking a sip.

The readers can try to prepare this cocktail themselves, but keep in mind that you need to be at least twenty years old to drink alcohol. Minors should avoid alcoholic beverages (we don’t want you blaming this book later).

The chicks in Mary’s stage
Now we will introduce you to these rarely seen chicks. From left to right, their names are:

☆ Catherine: P-chan’s friend from junior college.
☆ Arthur Antunes Coimbra: A world-renowned soccer personality.
☆ Yoshirou Fujimoto: A rally driver.
☆ Julietta: P-chan herself.
☆ Bob Gullickson: Susan’s boyfriend and P-chan’s junior from high school.
☆ Susan: P-chan’s childhood friend.
☆ Kenzou: P-chan’ fiance.
☆ Youko Shiratori: A well-off lady.

The information above is authentic (?). SNK-sama asked us to write it (shift of responsibility).
